Andrew’s old photography website was getting outdated, and he wanted to create a new site that focused exclusively on weddings. Starting with the WordPress theme Widescreen by Graph Paper Press, the fonts and layout were modified to match the desired aesthetic. All galleries are easily updated with the WordPress backend, and the site is completely iPhone compatible-no Flash here!

A focused SEO campaign has moved the site from page 30 to page 5 of search results for ‘Maine Wedding Photographer’ over a 2 month period. All other site metrics are also drastically improved over the old site.

A fantastic collection of antique brass tobacco boxes was arranged for this ad in the LA Antique Show catalog. Using the same colors and typefaces as the Eve Stone Antiques website keeps a consistent brand identity in print and online. A consistent, recognizable style of photography further aids in brand cohesion.

Project: Photograph patients for advertising campaign

PainCare invited several patients to their office to talk about their experiences for a radio, television and print advertising campaign. I was employed to capture headshots of each patient. Working within a limited time frame of about 5-10 minutes per individual, I put each of them at ease to capture a natural, relaxed portrait to convey the sense of relief and improved quality of life from the relief of their chronic pain.

I was hired to photograph the newly renovated interior of Dunstan Dental Center in Scarborough Maine for use on their new website.  I used a combination of existing light and flash as well as exposure stacking to create images that were balanced with as much detail as possible.

Antiques Period on River Street in Boston deals in European furniture for collectors and decorators. I photographed several items from their inventory on location using a combination of studio strobes and natural light. This shoot is a good example of what can be accomplished in a small space-the shop is quite cozy, as well as filled with antiques, but with some creative thinking, I was still able to obtain professional results.

Eve Stone’s old website was built in the mid ’90′s and was badly in need of updating. In addition, Eve and her daughter Susan wanted to be able to update their own site. The site needed to be easy to navigate as well as attractive, with available inventory front and center.

WordPress was chosen as a CMS, and Leah at Leah Creates helped set up the basic structure and functionality of the site.

Project: Full page advertisement in Antiques & Fine Art

Northeast Auctions was selected to sell the contents of Colonial Williamsburg’s Carter Grove property after the property was sold and the contents deaccessioned.  This advertisement was designed to announce the sale, and features a photograph of Carter’s Grove captured by Andrew.
